When Cleaning Becomes a “Situation”
Some people clean their living rooms with gloves, sprays, and a long playlist of motivation songs.
Seren? She brought a beige sweatshirt, black shiny wetlook leggings, black high heels and a wooden spoon.
Because apparently, cleaning today was going to require magic.
The moment she stepped into the living room, she stopped in her tracks. Silence. Then shock. “Okay… this is not a mess,” she muttered. “This is a full-time lifestyle.”
Clothes were scattered across the sofa, random items sat on the floor, and the cushions looked like they had given up hope altogether. The room didn’t just feel messy it felt committed to it.
The Wooden Spoon Strategy
Seren carefully stepped forward, choosing her path like the floor was a puzzle with hidden penalties. She eventually sat on the black sofa and stared at the situation in silence. Then she picked up a wooden spoon. “Right,” she said seriously. “If no one else is fixing this… I guess I’m the wizard now.”
She twirled the spoon like a magic wand and nodded as if receiving instructions from an invisible cleaning council. “I see the problem,” she whispered. “Too much… everything.” After a pause, her expression shifted. “What if… I don’t clean it normally?”
The “Swoosh” Transformation
Seren stood, raised the wooden spoon, and gave a confident flick of the wrist. “Swoosh.” Nothing happened.
She blinked, then tried again with more conviction. “Simsalabim!” And suddenly everything changed.
In an instant, the living room was spotless. The sofa was neatly arranged, the floor was clean, and even the cushions looked like they had found peace with life again. Seren stood still, processing the result.
“…I should have learned magic sooner,” she said proudly.
Minimal Effort, Maximum Magic
She walked around the transformed room, inspecting her work with satisfaction. It wasn’t just clean it felt victorious.
“Minimal effort. Maximum results. That’s my kind of cleaning.” With a final nod, she placed the wooden spoon on the table like a retired magical artifact and sat back down on the perfectly restored sofa. Because sometimes cleaning isn’t about scrubbing and stress.
Sometimes it’s about imagination, confidence… and just the right amount of dramatic “simsalabim.”
